I’ve started my journey at an advertising agency as a “webmaster”, a role that combined front-end development, some web design and writing content for a diverse client portfolio. Those were the days when every company was trying to build their digital presence, even if it was just a landing page with some content and a contact form.

After this brief stint and having decided that the agency culture was not for me I focused on my studies. Which only lasted for about one semester as I was restless to get another job and keep learning. That’s why I’ve joined Terra, one of the pioneering “Internet Portals” in Brazil in the early 2000s. In my time there I’ve evolved from an intern building and manually curating their search engine catalog to actually becoming a front-end developer helping them bringing products and services to their huge user base.
